Child Protection

Pre-School Project:

Early childhood development is multidimensional, encompassing several aspects of a child’s well-being: physical, social, emotional and mental. Early childhood education (ECE) is a broader term that focuses on a child’s learning between birth and the age of 5, which corresponds to the early stages of primary education. This is an early childhood development project that will help to enrol at least 200 pre-school age children into the local public and private primary school system. The project will involve 10 adolescent girls studying in high schools to work as part time teachers.

DF has an attachment with the education and child development activities, predominantly—the origination of the organization ever more followed the education and development of the displaced and destitute children and adolescents. The goal of the department is to build up enriched nation through education and cultural development. Education and child development program of DF has been carrying out the activities: Pre-School Program, Vocational Education and Training project, Sports-cultural and Adolescence Development Program, and so on.

Safe Home Project (House of Hope Project):

Safe Home project emphasized on reintegration of the girls into family settings or wider community through case management system. Children’s cases are supported by professional psychologist to develop individual care plan and assistance is provided for higher education, vocational training, and stipend for attending job placement, which prepare them for self-reliant lives. The project also assesses the potential of every child in transitioning from institutional care to more independent family and community life, and the decision on alternative care arrangement (e.g. kinship care, supervised living arrangement in the form of small group home) is taken by considering the best interest of the child.

Dipti Foundation through the support of development partners /World Mobilization is running the activities for their better life and hopes to enlarge the House of Hope project at its maximum capacity.

House of Hope helps the girls to grow up for their skills development and academic education. There are now 20 girls, 15 girls are teenagers and 5 girls are adults. All girls are studying at the formal school. Inside has the home schooling for the girls to help them and prepare them before admitting the school.

Counselling:

When the girls come, they’re traumatized and cannot believe any people. We are giving individual counselling and motivational class for developing and changing their mind for the positive. Bring them from darkness into the Light.
